The Stock Trading Supertrader Class, one of the advanced stock trading classes organised by Mahersaham held over 2 days at the Mahersaham office, has been completed.
This was the first time we resumed our advanced class after nearly two months of break, partly due to the fasting month and Hari Raya celebrations.
This time we tried making several improvements, including:
Many people wanted to attend previous sessions, which were usually held at the Mahersaham office in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
However, they could not attend because we held the class on weekdays. This was partly due to my tight schedule, unable to spare weekend time to handle the class.
In the previous semester, I had sat for the CFA Level 1 examination held at the end of June.
The busyness of attending classes while simultaneously improving skills in data analytics – learning Excel, VBA, then Python – consumed a great deal of time and energy.
Given the encouraging response, we planned to hold the Supertrader stock trading class in Shah Alam on 29 and 30 September 2018.

Previously, for the Supertrader class, most of the content was delivered by myself. We also brought in a slot related to IPO (Initial Public Offering) in the syllabus, delivered by Tuan Lukman.
With additional instructors delivering the syllabus, this brought a fresh perspective to the participants, where they could gain different expertise and learn from more than one mentor over the two-day learning period.
Many may not know that Tuan Elyas had actually just officially resigned from his job as an engineer in March of that year to join the Mahersaham team.
To me, that was a sacrifice and a bold decision that is certainly greatly appreciated, and I hope Mahersaham can serve as a platform to showcase his talent and potential in the stock trading field.

Recently, several people suggested that we should make an expensive class.
Perhaps the value we provide does not match the price we offer.
You can see from the feedback given by the Supertrader Stock Class participants that the price offered is VERY REASONABLE.
And rightly so – the syllabus we designed, covering two full days of class, enables participants to reach an ADVANCED level, if not PRO, from a BEGINNER level.
The classes we organise and the syllabus we share with participants are based on our capacity as Remisiers or MRs (Marketing Representatives), agents who are closely involved in dealing with clients in the buying and selling of stocks on Bursa Malaysia.
The techniques we developed are the result of facing the ups and downs of the stock market on Bursa Malaysia almost daily.
At the same time, we also frequently seek knowledge, equip ourselves with the latest tools that can further ease stock analysis, and sit for important examinations – all to become the best in the stock trading world.
The question of whether a stock class is expensive or cheap should not be asked if you know Mahersaham.
If you look at Mahersaham''s efforts over the past two months, you will realise that we have begun transforming the mahersaham.com website as a platform to connect with the mass market and mass audience.
It is well known that the general public are not wealthy individuals who can easily spend money on expensive classes.
If we make it too expensive, what will happen to the general public?
By ignoring the general public, we are leaving behind the opportunity to foster a culture of financial literacy in society.
In fact, stocks (investment) are clearly one of the main branches of financial freedom as mentioned by Robert T. Kiyosaki in his financial quadrant.
Our dream is to be part of the community, especially in the area of stocks.
There is a reason why we share these things. Those interested in knowing about Mahersaham''s progress and the values we hold, they will read.
If you have read and feel that the values we hold are the same as what you believe in, then in my view, you are also part of the Mahersaham team.
InsyaAllah, if given the opportunity, you too will collaborate with us to produce something great for the stock trading community in Malaysia.
To succeed in the stock market, like it or not, you need to show determination and not learn halfway.
You need to be in a like-minded community that understands the importance of stocks.
