How to Use the Mahersaham Support Bot: 11 Stock Analysis Functions in Telegram

Many members do not realise that the Mahersaham Support Bot is more than just a bot for asking questions - it is your personal stock analysis assistant, available 24 hours a day inside Telegram. Type a single counter name and the bot serves up a full chart with indicators, company information, quarterly reports, right through to support & resistance levels calculated and ready for you.
This article walks you through every function in the bot and how to use it to the fullest - including the fully upgraded Support & Resistance feature.
Who Can Use This Bot?
The Mahersaham Support Bot is an exclusive benefit for CDS M+ (Mplus) clients under Remisier Maher Alias. Besides access to this bot, Mahersaham clients also get access to the Mahersaham App, the Mahersaham Client Group, LIVE sessions every evening, plus platform and TradingView classes.
If you are not a client yet, you can follow the steps in How to Open a CDS Mplus Account to get started.
Getting Started & Gaining Access
- PM the Mahersaham Support Bot on Telegram: t.me/Mahersaham_support_bot
- Click the Start button, then enter the email and IC number you used when opening your CDS account
- Once verified, you will receive the Mahersaham Client Support Group link and every bot function is unlocked for you
Note: If it fails because your CDS account has not been linked to the Mahersaham App, follow the PDF guide provided inside the bot, wait up to 24 hours, then try /start again. Still not working? PM Mahersaham_Platform for assistance.
Once access is granted, simply type the name of the counter you want to analyse - for example: DUFU. The bot sends a full TradingView-style chart with indicators already set up, and a button menu appears below the chart. From here, every analysis is just one button press away. Let us go through them one by one.
1. Multi-Timeframe Charts (1m to 1w)
The timeframe buttons - 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 4h, 1d, 1w - let you switch chart views instantly:
- 1d / 1w - to see the bigger trend and make swing or position trading decisions
- 1h / 4h - to find more precise entry timing
- 1m to 30m - for intraday traders who want a detailed view of daily price action
Tip: Start your analysis with the larger timeframes first (1w or 1d) to understand the overall trend, then zoom into the smaller timeframes to find your entry. Never make a decision from a single timeframe. We cover this technique in more depth in Multiple Timeframe and Index Analysis.
2. Stock Info - A Quick Snapshot of the Counter
The Stock Info button delivers the counter's essentials in one message: current price, an [S] tag for Shariah-compliant status, and other key details. The Shariah status refers to the official list issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) twice a year. This is your first checkpoint before digging deeper into any counter.
3. Quarter Report - The Latest Financial Performance
Quarterly reports are the heartbeat of a company's fundamentals. With the Quarter Report button, you can see the latest revenue, profit or loss and EPS without opening Bursa Announcements and hunting through PDFs dozens of pages long.
Tip: Compare the latest quarter against the same quarter last year (year-on-year), not just the previous quarter - some businesses are genuinely seasonal.
4. Corporate Info - Know the Company Before You Buy
Corporate Info displays the company's background: its line of business, sector, and key corporate information. Remember the basic principle: you are not buying a ticker, you are buying a business. Spend 2 minutes reading this before putting your money in.
5. Stock Performance - Price Performance Over Time
This button shows price movement across multiple periods - daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. Useful for gauging momentum: is this counter climbing steadily, or did it just spike suddenly (which is usually risky to chase)?

6. Market Depth - See Buying vs Selling Pressure
Market Depth displays the order book - the queue of buyers (bid) and sellers (ask) at every price level. This is the intraday trader's weapon:
- Thick bids below the price = support from buyers
- Thick asks above the price = a wall of selling that needs to be broken through
7. Dividend History - For Dividend Investors
Want to know whether a company pays dividends consistently? The Dividend History button lists its dividend payment track record. Companies that pay dividends consistently for years usually have healthy cash flow. If dividend investing is your focus, also read Generating Passive Income Through Dividends on Bursa Malaysia.
8. Major Shareholders & Shareholding Changes - Follow the "Big Boys"
These two buttons are among the least used but most valuable:
- Major Shareholders - who are the largest shareholders? Institutions? Founders? Government funds?
- Shareholding Changes - are directors or major shareholders currently adding to or selling their holdings?
When insiders themselves are adding to their positions, it is usually a signal of confidence. When they are selling en masse - be careful.
9. Give Support and Resistance - Levels Calculated For You
This is a favourite among members, and it has recently been fully upgraded. The bot now calculates support & resistance levels directly from 180 days of actual price data, using 4 techniques combined into a single report:
a) Swing High/Low - Real Historical Levels
The bot detects every price peak and trough over the past 6 months, then clusters levels that sit close together. If the price has reversed around RM1.46 seven times, that level is tagged "7x touches" - the more touches, the stronger the level. This is the most "real" form of support & resistance because it comes from the price's own behaviour.
b) Classic Pivot Points
The standard formula used by traders worldwide, calculated from the last session's High, Low and Close. It produces daily reference levels: Pivot, R1-R3 (resistance) and S1-S3 (support). Well suited to short-term trading.
c) ATR Stoploss - Automatic Risk Management
ATR (Average True Range) measures a counter's average daily movement. The bot places a suggested stoploss at 2x ATR below the current price - far enough to avoid being shaken out by normal volatility, close enough to protect your capital when the trend truly breaks.
d) Gann Square of Nine
The W.D. Gann technique that derives levels from the square root of price - an additional reference used by many veteran technical traders.
How to Read the S&R Report
📊 Support & Resistance: DUFU
Current price: RM1.520
🔴 Resistance (swing level):
R1: 1.580 (3x touches)
...
🟢 Support (swing level):
S1: 1.470 (2x touches)
...
Important tip: When several techniques produce levels that sit close together - for example a swing support at RM1.47 and an ATR stoploss at RM1.46 - that area is a strong support zone. That is the zone to watch for your entry or your stoploss placement.
10. Trading Plan - Plan Before You Trade
The Trading Plan button connects to the Mahersaham trading plan system - where you record and review your trade plans. Successful traders are not the ones who trade the most, but the ones who have a plan and stick to it.

Suggested Workflow: A Complete Analysis in 5 Minutes
Try this routine on any counter:
- Type the counter name → get the chart. Check the trend on
1dand1w - Stock Info + Corporate Info → understand what business this company is in
- Quarter Report → profitable or losing money? Growing or shrinking?
- Shareholding Changes → are insiders buying or selling?
- Give Support and Resistance → get your entry, target and stoploss levels
- Trading Plan → record your plan before entering
Six steps, all inside one Telegram chat. No need to open 5 different websites.
A Practical Example: How the Routine Works
Imagine you notice the counter DUFU being actively discussed in a group and you want to check for yourself whether it is worth entering. Here is how to do it with the bot, following the routine above:
Step 1 - Big trend first. Type DUFU and the bot sends the chart. Press 1w: the long-term trend is still rising. Press 1d: the price has just completed a pullback and is starting to stabilise. So far, the story looks interesting.
Step 2 - Check the business and fundamentals. Press Stock Info to confirm the Shariah status and current price. Press Corporate Info to understand the company's line of business. Then Quarter Report: revenue and profit growing versus the same quarter last year? Good. If profit has declined for 3 consecutive quarters, that is a signal to be more cautious even if the chart looks attractive.
Step 3 - Check who is buying. Press Shareholding Changes. If the directors themselves are accumulating shares, your confidence grows. If major shareholders are offloading large positions, think twice.
Step 4 - Get the levels. Press Give Support and Resistance. Say the report shows a swing support at RM1.47 with 7x touches, and an ATR stoploss at RM1.46. Two different techniques pointing to almost the same zone - that is a strong support zone. You now have a basis to plan an entry near that zone, with a stoploss below it.
Step 5 - Record the plan. Enter your entry, target and stoploss into the Trading Plan before placing any order. Once the plan is written down, emotions find it much harder to take over.
The whole process takes less than 5 minutes - and you have already run the trend, fundamental, insider and technical level checks that most traders skip entirely.

The bot is exclusive to CDS M+ (Mplus) clients under Remisier Maher Alias. There is no extra charge for clients - it is part of the Mahersaham support package. If you are not a client yet, start by opening a CDS Mplus account first.
The bot is not responding or says "Try again later"?
Sometimes the server is busy processing requests from many users at once. Wait a minute and try again. If it persists, contact the Mahersaham support team.
Why can't some counters be found?
Make sure the counter name is spelled exactly as it appears on Bursa (for example: DUFU, not DUFU BHD). The bot supports counters listed on Bursa Malaysia.

No - this bot is specifically for Bursa Malaysia counters. For global stocks such as NYSE and NASDAQ, Mahersaham has a separate bot. Read How to Use the Mahersaham Global Bot.
Email and IC number rejected during registration?
Most likely your CDS account has not been linked to the Mahersaham App yet. Follow the PDF guide inside the bot, wait 24 hours, then try /start again. If it still fails, PM Mahersaham_Platform.
Are the S&R levels a guarantee that price will reverse?
No. Support & resistance are probability zones, not guarantees. Use them as a framework for planning your entry, target and stoploss - not as predictions. Risk management remains your responsibility.
Can I place buy or sell orders directly in the bot?
No. The bot is for analysis and support only. To place actual orders, use the M+ Online platform as usual - the bot helps you make the decision before you press the buy or sell button.
