Stock Research & Thematic Reports on Mahersaham: How to Access & Read Them

Want to do your own stock research but not sure where to start? On mahersaham.com, the heavy lifting has already been done for you - what you need to know is where to find it and how to read it properly.
The platform provides three complementary layers of research: Stock Research (deep dives into individual companies), Thematic Reports (analysis by theme and sector) and the Screener (automated daily technical scans). In this tutorial we show you how to use all three, complete with screenshots.
This is the third part of the Mahersaham tutorial series. If you are not yet familiar with the platform, start with the tour of every Mahersaham menu.
Stock Research: Deep Dives Into Bursa Companies

Click the Kajian Saham (Stock Research) menu in the top navigation to see every published study. Each one covers a single Bursa Malaysia company and can be found by company name or stock code.
The Structure of Each Study

Take the Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (FN) study as an example. At the top you will find a price chart with switchable timeframes - 1 hour, 4 hours, daily or weekly - plus a Multi-View button for comparisons. The chart can be refreshed for the latest data.

Scroll down and you will find the study sections, listed in the table of contents on the right:
- Company Profile - business background and revenue sources (free)
- Shariah Status - based on the Securities Commission's SAC list (free)
- CANSLIM Analysis - assessment using the CANSLIM methodology adapted for Bursa Malaysia
- Financial Analysis - revenue, margins, debt and cash flow
- Dividends - dividend history and consistency
- Valuation - is the current price reasonable
- Peer Comparison - how the company stacks up against sector rivals
- Red Flags - risks to watch out for
- Scorecard & Catalysts - score summary and driving factors
Sections marked Gold Members require a Gold subscription. The company profile and Shariah status are always free. Want to understand how to judge whether a stock is cheap or expensive? Read the PE Ratio by sector guide.
Every study is also available in Malay - click the language link at the top of the study.
Thematic Reports: Analysis by Theme & Sector

Where Stock Research focuses on one company, Thematic Reports study an entire theme or sector - then identify every related Bursa stock. Access them through Kajian Saham, then click Laporan Tematik, or go directly to mahersaham.com/laporan.
Report categories include Technical Analysis, Finance & Banking, Commodities, Macroeconomics, the IPO Market, the Technology Sector, and Energy & Utilities. For example, the grid supply chain report identifies 19 Bursa stocks involved in building the power infrastructure for AI data centres.

Notice the stock tags at the top of each report - every one links directly to that company's full stock research. This is a fast way to move from the "big theme" to a "specific company". Full thematic report content is for Gold Members.
Screener: Automated Technical Scans Every Day

The third layer is the Screener - more than 75 automated scanners sweeping the market every trading day. How to use it:
- Choose the MY (Bursa Malaysia) or US market
- Filter by tags - for example breakout, momentum, conservative or day-trading
- Click View scanner results to see the stocks that passed that day's filter
- Star your favourite scanners for quick access
Our recommended workflow: use the Screener to build a candidate list, then read the Stock Research to understand each company's fundamentals, and check the Thematic Reports for sector context. These three layers make your research far more complete.
Trading Plans: From Research to Planning

Research without planning is just reading. The Trading Plans menu lets you record every plan - entry price, target and stop loss - and the system automatically calculates your risk:reward ratio, profit and loss and performance statistics. You can also browse Community Plans to learn from other traders' plans.
Statistics such as Win Rate and Avg P&L give you an honest picture of your performance - essential for continuous improvement.
Reading Research on Your Phone

Stock research and thematic reports read comfortably on a phone - charts stay interactive and the content stacks vertically. Perfect for reviewing research while waiting for the market to open or while on the move.
